Lamborghini is recalling 5,900 Aventadors globally, as well as 3 Veneno hardtops and 9 Veneno Roadsters. They are being called back because of a fuel system failure that could cause a fire. Obviously, the gas vapors from the exhaust system may become dense enough to burn upon contact with hot gases from the rear of the vehicle.
Lamborghini goes on to say that there is an increased risk if actions like the one in the park and general behavior happen (we explain the last point). All owners of the affected vehicles will be notified by certified mail and are expected to meet with local dealers in the near future. Repair will include an upgrade of the evaporation system.

The Lamborghini Aventador starts at around $ 400,000 and is powered by a terrifying 6.6-liter V-12 that’s powered by 740 hp at just 2.9 seconds and at a speed of 0-62 miles.
